The film proposal is a visual representation of how your film is going to look, your vision as a completed end product. You use it to excite key crew and cast to come aboard your project and invest in turning your vision into a reality.
Writing a film proposal a documentary or feature film, almost always holds the hope of attracting sponorship from inventors or various recognized organizations. Its not just for extra finical support mechanism. It also gives the permission and availability to make and shoot your film as without funds from major film companies you won't be able/or might be able to achieve your finished, polished, final composition as you intended. As you might not have the crew size or the amount of spiecal staff cable of bringing your creative idea to life.
