Sunderland college tour (f.t Mark, Bruno
Initial assessment task evaluation
Group work for our project was reasonibily straight forward as we all knew what we wanted the finalized product to be. However, we did unavoidly come across a few minor problems that limited our promo video experience. E.g, when we came to shoot the camera angles in our chosen loactions for example, the libary and hallways we found that our shots where unfousced, blurry and unclear. we then learned from this experience and dedicated our time to getting to grips of using tripod equipment since we didn't use it first hand. Also, we managed to learn how to focus a camera probably(during re-shoots) and where able to re-shot the areas we didn't quite get right the first time and where able to develop far more clear and professional looking shots. however, we are still very new to handling equipment such as this, we all personally think that we did as sufficiently as we could of at the time. We know what to do better next time, as we know further training, practice and guidance though the course will vastly improve both our editing and video making.
I did most of the camera work and editing pre-production of our project my self. I was the one who shot and edited everything while, Mark and Bruno handled the locational whereabouts of where we where filming and why we filmed there. Also, they both have small cameo parts thorough out the video as mark toured around the goals and bruno did the short beginning intro. We chose to not have full-blown commentary thought the video, instead we used subtitles. This was not due to laziness, it was more so that we did not know at the time how to cut and split voice lines into different segments thought the video as we lacked the know-how. However it is differently an unconquered challenge that all of us plan to try again, as the video could've have benighted from more interesting focuses on dialogue.
