LA3:know about your research

What techniques can be used to conduct research?

Primary data is very useful as the information that you have gained, is actually yours. You have physically found out that information yourself meaning no one else will have that said information (unless it is published or realized to the world.) However, it isn't the most practical way to find research as you can't really condense for example, 100 peoples opinion by just assembling them all yourself. Secondary data has an advantage for this, as it is information that you can get access than you do not have to go out and scavenge for yourself. These are usually primary sets of data that have been collected by a person or group, but has been publicly published on streaming services like, e.g youtube, google, wikipedia. Its a great way to get fast, quick information from sources that already exist, plus interns of scale it is much easier to condense down other than primary data. However, not everything on the internet that you find can be rueful as people can publish lies or deceitful information on the internet. Morden techonigly has made scamming of wrong information much easier than ever before.

How might you keep an information trail of the research you have undertaken? Why is this important?

Backups, are a big necessity as files on blogs or any website can be corrupted. To tackle this i use a hard drive to store everything that i need. Meaning if important media reserach tasks are lost, emergency backups are on order to help if these types of situations occur with in the mac or any computerized system. The way are usually keep a piece of information or media research is by saving files frequently on my hard rive/documents. I also store some in the cloud so that i can access it almost anyway around the college or even at home. (If i have required desktop and system to operate it and edit it.)

What different ways may you collate your research? Why is it important to collate your research?

Examiners require us to label our tasks and projects that we have done blogger acutely, promptly, and clearly as the sections of the course are outlined using specifically worded termonigly. For example, for this section of research I'm using the lettering 'la 3' to label work for the examiners and teachers will be analyzing and reviewing monthly and yearly. Also i am well aware of back up drives and extra emegerncy saved data in the cloud, as i have already previously mentioned before this question. I always made sure that work is portly saved and carefully filed into my SD card and the i macs hard-drive.

What ways might you store your research? Why is this important?

Much like the other previous questions prior. Mainly saving once completed on my blog e.g like this one I'm typing right now. Blogs tend save files and research on the cloud of the mac swell, allowing for the easy access of that information. But i also use hard drives, the one i have has 1tb of storage meaning it will probably never be maximized of no space avidable.
