LA3:Know about research methods.

Primary research:

Is data that you physically collect yourself e.g going on the streets collecting surveys of peoples opinions on their home town, or local business, or how good is the entertainment/leisure activities are in your area. Primary research tends to be the first logical and alternative method that researchers use to find their information instead of depending on data collected from previously done research e.g secondary research.
Examples of primary research can be surveys(as said before) or observations and ethical research. This types of gathered results tend to be put into graphs, numeracy tables or number charts displaying the researchers finalized results.

Secondary research:

Is a type of data that you do not have to physically go and collect it yourself because the information is already on online/streaming services for you to use and learn from. This can be research like newspapers, the information has already been primarily collected from somebody else's physical data, but you are analyzing it and learning about the world though the information of agents and reporters. Another example, can be online company websites. Companies tend to send local update reports of what is currently in their works and you can absorb that information by writing it down or by looking it up simply on google etc. Furthermore, other streaming services which can be briefly mentioned are youtube, Yahoo and much more.

Qualitative research:

The word 'qualitative' just means quality, e.g how good is this source of information/research that we've collected? Is good enough in order to organize a justified result? It is also a scientific method of observation and refers to the meaning of concepts, definitions and symbols. Tenderly, qualitative data tends to gather non-numeracy research relying more on local/public talk to get information.
